Driving to Nebraska for my father's funeral was rainy and windy. But just as I neared the exit for Lincoln, the rain stopped and the entire sky filled with sun rays poking through the clouds everywhere! I was on I-80 at rush hour time, where the speed limit was 75, so I didn't dare stop.
But these two images shot through my windshield captured some of it. With the help of these sun rays, my spirit lifted and I knew I'd make it through. It reminded me that without the clouds, the sun can't shine down its beautiful rays.
